  • On the first day, please walk your child to our classroom with their booklist items from 8:15am.
  • Ensure that morning goodbyes are kept short to enable your child to transition into a successful day. If they are upset for any reason, I will ensure your child is fully supported as they become comfortable with their new peers and surroundings.
  • Don’t forget to remind them of who will be picking them up in the afternoon and where.

St Bernardine’s Value Focus: ALL VALUES!

Welcome to the last week of school for 2018! We have had such a wonderful year in One Maroon and all of the children have worked so hard. I am very sad but excited to see all of the students move up to Year 2. I have loved having your child in my class and I am so proud of their progress. This would not have been possible without all of your support, communication and encouragement – so thank you!

Important Information:

  • We will be having a class party on Thursday 6th December to celebrate our wonderful year together. Please bring a small plate of food to share with the class and a pillow. Students can drop them to the classroom from 8:15am if they wish.
  • Our last day of school is on Friday 7th December. School finishes at 11:30am! Please only pack a small Morning Tea (no brain break) as we will have a short break before the final Assembly at 10:45 in Siena Hall – all welcome.

Important Information:

  • Christmas Concert 27th November!
    Arrive at our classroom between 6-6:15pm. Concert starts at 6:30pm.
    Please make sure your child goes to the toilet prior to coming to the classroom.
    Children in One Maroon need to wear; a green or red shirt, black or denim bottoms, slip on shoes.
    Children can be picked up from the classroom after the concert finishes at approximately 8pm. Please DO NOT take your child from the line/s while we are walking back to the classroom!
